The Avalon neighborhood is a rural subdivision in central Baldwin County, Alabama that incorporated in 2003 and began building in 2004. The total number of home sites is 129 and, as of March, 2020, all lots are completed or currently under construction. Our ideal location places us only 7 driving miles from Interstate 10, 30 driving miles from the beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama and even closer to Mobile Bay. The high school, middle school, and elementary school are all within 5 miles of Avalon
Many of our residents work in Mobile as it is only 18 driving miles. The cities of Daphne, Fairhope, and Spanish Fort are all 10 miles or less, please visit their web sites, also found on the Sites of Interest section. Pensacola beaches and airport are within an hour. Multiple shopping and recreational amenities are 10 to 20 minutes from our location.
